I somehow managed to miss Jack's funeral service--and was so sad to have missed it. Some sweet old cars and race fans turned out to pay their respects. I used to follow him in some of the West Coast races back in the late 60's. A friend loaned me the book, and I've read nearly 200 pages in just a few hours. What a fun read...rekindling some old memories. I won't part with it until I have read every word! Thanks, Jack, for allowing me to relive a little of the excitement from years gone by! What a wonderful, historically accurate and entertaining book!

What a great collection of racing stories, entertaining and full of enjoyment and chuckles. A must have for anyone who is interested in American motor sports. The collections of photos in this book and the record they provide is a remarkable achievement in its own right. This book is an unusual accomplishment. Good work, Authors!
